The BTF is used usually for single particle test of detectors but is able to receive up to 10¹⁰ particles per second for irradiation test. The DAΦNE LINAC working point could be deeply changed to obtain low energy beam up to 160 MeV with a primary electron beam with enough pulse charge that fulfills irradiation test requirements. A current monitor was installed in the BTF to provide the particle charge per bunch at the users and a flag with the image acquisition system is in operation too, in order to provide a more precise characterization of the beam delivered for the experiments. In this paper the current status and activities of the BTF facility are described.
