In this work we present progress in developing a modular Python framework to analyze some of the non-linear aspects of a storage ring, by directly operating with the given Hamiltonians. Hereby we have implemented Birkhoff’s normal form and Magnus expansion. This leads to a flexible framework to perform calculations to high order and, moreover, to relax the constraint of stability to also include certain unstable fixed points in the analysis.}}, }
